Celebrity Skin

Being an avid reader of fashion magazines and blogs, I often take inspiration from the designers and celebrities featured. Most celebs have stylists so it’s not too difficult for them to get the right look for glitzy premieres and awards ceremonies, but what I find more interesting is seeing how the stars are dressed when they’re off duty, as thier style becomes a little more accessible. Here’s a quick run through a few celebrity muses who rarely get it wrong when it comes to fashion and style in the summer:

Nicole Richie

Nicoles staple style is very simplistic, often using accessories to highlight a simple outfit. Whether she’s walking the red carpet or popping to the shops, she always manages to look effortlessly stylish.

Vanessa Hudgens

Rarely seen without her Balenciaga handbag, Vanessa is fast becoming one of Hollywoods top fashion icons. From her trademark floaty mini dresses to her laid back daytime style, her look is accessible and bang on trend.

Kate Moss/Sienna Miller

Although both ladies are style icons in their own right, they both tend to have a very similar summer festival look (which I adore!). They both manage to make even the simplest style arrangements look achingly cool, whether they’re pairing short shorts with boots or effortlessly combining trends into one outfit. Their everyday casual summer style is similar but each of them somehow makes their outfits their own.

Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson’s style is very cute and feminine whilst keeping up to date with the latest trends. She always manages to find the right balance between smart and casual, looking effortlessly chic in every situation.
